A little late....but Happy Birthday Tim

Wednesday was Tim's 38th birthday! We had a great week celebration with family and friends. It began on Tuesday night at Ruth Chris's steak house with his brother Pat and his parents! Such yummy food. We made it a kid free night...for the first time in forever with his parents. It was nice to catch up and have conversations, but we did miss them!

Wednesday was a fun filled day too! The kids and surprised Daddy in bed in the morning with his gifts! He got some new workout shorts, luggage tags for the airplane headsets, a new fun "pilot's weather" sign for the Hanger, and a iPod touch! He was surprised with most of it....that is always fun to do!

I was able to steal Tim away for a birthday lunch too...took him to El Toritto for a quite lunch! It was a nice way to break up his crazy work day!

Then 3 great friends came over to our house for dinner. Thanks Randy, Julie and Bruce for coming to our house so the kids could get to bed on time and we could still enjoy the evening without a rush!

Julie.....the food was amazing. You went above and beyond as always. Your little touches shine thought every time!

Thursday night, Tim and I had a quite dinner out kid free - just the 2 of us! It was nice to recap a little from the week and talk about the next few weeks ahead of us.

Friday night we had the Annigoni's over for dinner. The kids all played and somehow ended up in the jacuzzi! Another great night with great friends!

Tonight we are having the Evan's over for dinner! So looking forward to catching up and sharing some laughs! Can't wait for Mark's amazing appetizers! He always leaves you wanting more!

Then - to top off the weekend....we are having the Litz family over for dinner Sunday evening. Can't wait to see the kids all running around (well not Mitch) and enjoying the backyard. Looking forward to holding little Mitch...he is getting too big too fast! And the topic of airplanes is bound to be the focus between Mark and Tim - just as it should be!

So - all in all...the only thing missing this week was my family! Having them so far away is hard...especially during these celebration times! I am thankful for the amazing friends and family who step in to fill those voids. Looking forward to seeing my family next week....first in California and then in Arizona and Texas!

Happy birthday Tim! We love you and wish you an amazing year ahead....with us by your side!

  1. Happy Belated Birthday Tim!

Wow Megan- I don't know how you stay sane with so much action going on. Sounds like you do have an amazing bunch of friends and that is the best thing ever.

so I'm still wondering if Tim is doing the pilot thing for a future job or just for recreation???

  3. He is a pilot just for fun! Wishes it was for more....but it doesn't quite pay the bills. We own a Fire Sprinkler business - that is what pays the bills! Maybe someday!!!!

Thanks for the kind words ladies...Tim had a great time.
