Father's Day.....

I just wanted to take the time to write a few of my favorite things about the wonderful father of my children. I am truly blessed to have such an amazing guy as a husband....but more so, Abbie and Brady are blessed to have him as a Daddy! The time they spend together is so much fun to watch!

Tim is so hands on and has been from day one! I remember when Abbie was first born...she was 4 days old before I changed her diaper....Tim would always jump in there first! It didn't stop there. Bath time has always been "Daddy time." I would stay downstairs and clean up dinner and off they would go for baths. First just he and Abbie (before Brady came along) and soon all 3 of them would be off. It is so much fun to hear the laughing and the splashing and the catching up on the day! Now that the kids are older and don't take baths (showers now), I do miss listening in on that time.

But those times have been replaced with rough housing in the backyard, riding bikes, going on adventure walks, hanging out the hanger, weekend at the river or just Daddy dinner nights out at some of their favorite restaurants! Regardless of what they are doing....they are doing it with big smiles and tons of LOVE!

I hope that the relationships the kids have with Tim continues to grow and grow.....for them to grow up seeing a strong male role model is just simply priceless to me!

So.....for this Fathers day I spoiled Tim! I surprised him with a new boat! he had been wanting one and it was inevitable that it would happen....I just made it happen a little sooner rather than later! Boy - was he shocked too! It was the coolest thing to watch! I didn't snap many photos of the big surprise...but here is one:

I know that this present has not only made Tim a very happy Daddy....it will also only continue the amazing adventures he will take us all on! I know I can't wait to ride the ride with him from here to eternity....Abbie and Brady are lucky to be along for the ride too!

I love you more than ever Tim and love to celebrate the amazing man that you are!
